NCI specimen resource locator. Will find appropriate tissue banks for desired tumor and normal specimens.
Contact for “NCI Tissue Expediter” an NCI scientist who will use their expertise to hook up scientists with tissue sources or even locate collaborators where needed.
NCI Cooperative Human Tissue Network (CHTN)
Collects needed tissues, also breast and prostate tissue microarrays. For tissues, $20/specimen and $4-8 for blocks or slides.

NCI Multi-Tumor Tissue Microarray (TARP) DCTD Tumor Repository
T-BO-1: TARP Breast and Ovarian Cancer Array, T-PR-1: TARP Prostate Cancer Array, T-CL-1: TARP Colon and Lung Cancer Array, T-MT-1: TARP Mixed Tumor Array. Slides are available, 5 slides per set. One set of 5 is $250 Slides are not mixed within sets i.e. 2 of T-PR-1 + 3 of T–BO-1).

US Biomax sells human tissue microarrays and single tissue slides –have large assortment
Protein Biotechnologies Inc., a San Diego, California based company sells a large variety of human tissue microarrays $225 each. The also sell human tumor lysates.
Need frozen sections? BioChain sells OCT frozen human tissue microarrays (not fixed)
They also sell a variety of fixed and frozen tissue sections and microarrays, and matched tumor normal slides. Fairly unique source of matched tumor/normal reagents and slides
Asterand (Partners in Human Tissue Research), has a large line of frozen, fixed, and fresh human tissues, along with human tissue microarrays, RNA, DNA, and purified proteins. They also have a collection of prostate and breast cell lines. They sell almost anything of human origin!
Chemicon sells tissue arrays
Invitrogen/Zyned sells tissue arrays “MaxArrays” for $325/5 slides with 60 cores.
Folio Biosciences also sells a large variety of human tissue sections and microarrays
ISUABXIS AccuMax tissue arrays (distributed by Telechem) as well as single tissue slides

Slides ready for in situ mRNA analysis Novagen/EMD has human tissue sections ready for in situ analysis of mRNA expression
Spring Bioscience has fixed human tissue sections and microarrays, ready for either ISH or IHC.
ProSci (a local company that does custom antibody work) has a good selection of normal and tumor human tissue slides, slides with cell lines, and small cell line arrays, also mouse cell line array.
Research Diagnostics, Inc. sells purified human (and viral) proteins for setting up assays, as well as antibodies, cytokines, etc.
