The scientific purpose of the
Proteomics Facility is to provide a core biophysical and
bioanalytical support infrastructure for The Burnham Institute.
The Facility serves multiple purposes.
First, the Facility
provides sample analysis for Burnham Institute scientists on a
fee-for-service basis.
Second,
the Facility
identifies, validates and develops new instrumentation
technologies and methods important for the characterization and
identification of biological macromolecules.
Finally, the Facility trains and educates
scientists in the proper use of these instruments and appropriate
data analysis methodologies.
This Web site is meant to be
resource for spreading information regarding the Facility, its
instruments and their associated applications.
