FR-E SuperBright X-ray Generator
The FR-E SuperBright X-ray generator provides the highest usable flux of any
generator available for the home laboratory.
It is a high brilliance generator that operates at
only 2kW with a focal spot size of 0.07mm.
With the FR-E SuperBright you can:
Screen crystals where no diffraction is seen on a standard system;
Collect full data sets on samples where only low-resolution reflections were
seen;
Solve samples that were previously unsolvable due to poor data quality.
Two detectors:
R-AXIS HTC and R-AXIS IV
R-AXIS HTC is a three image plate detector that provides throughput approaching
that of CCD detectors with the large active area and superlative dynamic range
of an image plate detector. Suitable for the high intensities of a synchrotron
or the perfect complement to the in-house rotating anode generators and high
throughput crystallography.
R-AXIS IV is a two image plate
detector.
